MEDIA AND INFORMATION SOURCES (HOMEWORK)

1.      How do people find information that matches my needs?
                       First thing that I do is to know and list (if possible) all the things that I need to learn or research. With that, I ask or search for the most accurate sites that can be my Source. For example, for the weather, I can go directly to website of PAG-ASA. But for other topics like science, mathematics, and the like, I would search through books or search the internet for information and making sure that the source is reliable base on the factors that I have learned in Media Lit.   
      
2.      How do I choose from the wide variety of information made available by different sources?
                       We cannot deny the wide range of sources available from internet. The convenience it gives us is undeniably helpful but there are also sources that we can’t really rely on so with this circumstance, what I do is collect sources and filter it one by 
until I get all the accurate sources that I can use. With choosing the sources, I pick the ones with name and trusted.

Search for the meaning of the INTERNET OF THINGS and answer the following questions: 1. In your own words, define the internet of things.      -Internet of Things are interconnection or interrelated networks that allow devices to receive and send data with each othe via internet. 2. In your opinion, what makes an individual literate in media and information?                      In my opinion, what makes an individual literate in media and information is his/her knowledge about it and his/her proper use with it. Aside from this, he/she should engage with media and other information providers effectively and should also develop critical thinking and life-long learning skills to socialize and be active citizens. 2.
